The Bronx carries some of the heaviest chronic wound burden in the city, and some of the hardest travel logistics for the people carrying it. Bedside care changes that math: the visit comes to the apartment or the facility, and the diabetes, blood pressure, and medications underneath the wound get managed by the same team.
We treat pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, and manage wound VACs at home, alongside home-based primary care for the conditions underneath.
